The Journey has begun...

I am beginning to see how the seeds of integrity, accountability, and honor I have been planting in my life this past year are beginning to bear fruit...when I chose to create an extraordinary life for myself by simply being extraordinary, things just started happening for me. I enjoy the work I do & have some awesome new friends who...get ready for this...have standards!!!! More & more I am finding that the people who cross my path either live their lives with integrity & honor...or they don't. Those that do almost naturally become part of my fiber & those that don't quickly realize they are in over their heads...

ex⋅pect     [ ik- spekt ] –verb (used with object) 1. to look forward to; regard as likely to happen; anticipate the occurrence or the coming of: I expect to read it. I expect him later. She expects that they will come. Based on this definition, an expectations is, in essence, merely a form of hope..or trust. Trust that what has been created by intention will occur. So...is it ever healthy, or appropriate, for us to set expectations or are we setting ourselves up for disappointment every time? The answer is, of course, it depends. Expectations can be a limiting, destructive tool of the ego, but can also be a healthy form of hope and expression of trust in our relationships.
