DaSharc's Water

An amazing and powerful thing happened to me recently. I wrecked my car while avoiding a collision with a van. The actual wreck itself wasn't amazing and powerful (although my landing would garner much envy among driving game enthusiast , and likely a huge score on Need for Speed ), it was moreso the events that followed. Heres what happened...  On a rainy night a van was coming into my lane, oblivious to my presence. Instead of hitting the van, I swerved & hit a curb. At first I thought she just kept driving, but it turns out she went to the next intersection & came back to see if I was OK, and to exchange contact info, etc.   Come to find out, neither insurance policy provides coverage for 'non-contact' damages. She calls me and tells me to give her my repair totals and says, "even if it takes a few months, I will re-imburse you." (not split, or help mind you...REIMBURSE. How nice of her).  I begin to assess my budget when the phone rings. She is calli...

I suppose now is as good a time as any to let everyone know..to a degree..what makes DaSharc tick..Listed here are my Core values & Beliefs, or CVBs* These CVBs are the guiding principles for how I live my life...both personally & professionally. Please feel free to adopt them should you desire a more meaningful & fulfilling life... I respect the individual, and believe that individuals who are treated with respect respond by giving their best. I require complete honesty and integrity in everything I do. I make commitments with care, and then live up to them. In all things, I do what I say I am going to do. Work is an important part of life, and it should be fun. Being a good businessperson does not mean being stuffy and boring. I am frugal. I guard and conserve all my resources with vigilance. I insist on giving my best effort in everything I undertake. Furthermore, I see a huge difference between "good mistakes" (best effort, bad result) and "bad mistakes...

I am beginning to see how the seeds of integrity, accountability, and honor I have been planting in my life this past year are beginning to bear fruit...when I chose to create an extraordinary life for myself by simply being extraordinary, things just started happening for me. I enjoy the work I do & have some awesome new friends who...get ready for this...have standards!!!! More & more I am finding that the people who cross my path either live their lives with integrity & honor...or they don't. Those that do almost naturally become part of my fiber & those that don't quickly realize they are in over their heads... :)

WOW! Can you believe this?! Dasharc's Water has been in existence for a mere day and already a term has been coined..."Sharcism"! (Thanks, Kitty! You really are THAT cool!) Those of you unfamiliar with Sharcisms will soon understand what one is should you spend some time swimming these waters..

Ok, Here it is .. my first blog entry. With this blog, I hope to provide musings and observations as well as explore the deepest reaches of DaSharc's water..that is to say...DaSharc's soul, inner thoughts, and opinions.
