These Clowns were dangerous to tyrants and exploiters because they were so disorganized and so completely honest. They could see with the eyes of a child, and because of this, could spot a phony a mile away.  They were sometimes called “destroyer of heroes”. The white invaders hated them, of course, so it was either be killed or find a way to hide. Those who were killed are remembered with much respect by their people. Those who survived did so by learning to be Tricksters, to change their form, to become invisible if necessary.

It's All About Perspective

"Where are my chips?" In life, as in this humorous ad, it's all about perspective. Just as this voluptuous blonde discovers, what we see in life (and therefore, what exists) is based solely on where we are viewing it from. As the waitress moved the plate, the woman saw a whole new component of the meal which she hadn't seen before (or rather, was not 'aware' of it's existence). The same effect would have been achieved if she had shifted her own body (as most of us would likely have done..lol). The point being, whether we choose to alter our own viewpoint, or the 'World' alters it for us, when it happens, it can open up a whole new world of possibilities for us that we hadn't seen before. Often, what we think is missing from our lives is 'right in front of us', we just need to change how we are looking at life in order to see it (to look past the 'obstacles' so to speak..lol). She expects that they will come. Based on this definition, an expectations is, in essence, merely a form of hope..or trust. Trust that what has been created by intention will occur. So...is it ever healthy, or appropriate, for us to set expectations or are we setting ourselves up for disappointment every time? The answer is, of course, it depends. Expectations can be a limiting, destructive tool of the ego, but can also be a healthy form of hope and expression of trust in our relationships. There are not only destructive and healthy expectations, but destructive and healthy behaviors associated with them.
